Hi, everyone. The site looks great. Paul Larson really did a great job on the design. Looking forward to hearing about you all in the future. God Bless.

Digging the new website. Very swank. Hope Christmas Show rehearsals are going well and there are no major illnesses ;-) Be expecting a bunch of International Students at the Friday night show. I am doing what I can. Let me know if you all need anything...Ciao!

Well, I’ve manage to find my way to the west coast. I’ve been living in Los Angeles now for 4 years with stops along the way in Nashville, Atlanta, and New York City. I’m working in artist management now. Basically just like Jerry McGuire...but for recording artists and producers. It’s all R&B;, Pop and Hip-Hop...if you know me, that’ll come as no surprise. hehehe Show Me The Money!
Well, feel free to drop me a line at or call at 310-962-0753. Hope you are all doing well.

Hello PMO! Congrats on the cool website. I love it that there are lots of pictures posted. Keep up the good work.
My husband and I (Jeremy Bennington, Uchoir ‘99) still live in San Jose, CA- but are trying to find our way back to Indiana! We’ll be back for the Christmas show this year- my cousin Eva Thomas is freshman in Purduettes. Can’t wait to see the show!!

My wife Noel and I are in Minneapolis, MN. A long drive from West Lafayette, but we really enjoy it here. Noel works for General Mills as a scientist in the frozen breakfast division, and I’m building a web development business.
It’s been an exciting experience to play entrepreneur, and it doesn’t hurt that Noel is bringing home the dough, but I’m doing my best!
Look forward to catching a PMO performance the next time we’re in town.

Shout-out to Swen --- Boy, it’s been way too long :) I hope you’re well!
I’m in Chicago, living and working in the city. If you ever need a place to stay, I have great loft space in my apartment and all the PMO people, you’re more than welcome to stay anytime!
Hope all’s well in PMO land.

Wow! What an awesome new website! Good job Paul! Kudos to you for putting an alumni blog on the site. I’m looking forward to catching up with everyone.
Here’s the update on my life:
After living and working in Michigan for three years, my husband was transferred to Phoenix. We love it here in the valley of the sun, and have since added on to our family with a baby girl, Annabelle.
Now, I’m a stay at home mom and am also doing some acting on the side. I’ve joined a sketch comedy and improv troupe and am also doing some independent film work. It’s a blast and is a nice break from being a mom all day!
We’ll probably move again at the end of 2005, but we aren’t sure where we will be going yet. Eventually we’ll end up back in Michigan and will be able to visit Purdue more often again.

The new website looks great!
I’m still living in the Lafayette area. I married Joshua Schriver in December of 2002. He’s an Electrical and Hardware Design Engineer at MailCode (A Pitney Bowes company). I’m currently working at The Community and Family Resource Center in Lafayette, building a mentoring program for children ages 4-14 of incarcerated parents, SHARE/Mentor. A cousin of mine, Lisa Schriver, is a freshman in Purduettes. I hope to come out more often and see her perform.
Please do get in touch.

Well, isn’t this cool! I was looking at the site for a schedule to book a specialty group for the WFYI Christmas Party (scheduled during Christmas Show, no less...), I saw this and felt compelled to write.
Nothing too interesting, but it’s what I’ve got! Marcus and I were married in May 2002, and we just moved to Indy where Marcus is in his first year of law school—he loves it. As if he needed help arguing! After leaving my teaching position in Lafayette, I started working in the development office of WFYI in Indy, and am a part-time educator at the Indianapolis Zoo. I LOVE that!
So, that’s us in a nutshell! I loved reading about my old friends in PMO… we do miss it. We both hope everyone is doing well… and have a wonderful holiday!

Hola folks!
I am residing in the hurricane oasis of Tampa, Florida where I’ve been contracting for Verizon Data Services since June 2003. Starting in August 2003 I worked 3rd shift telecommuting from home, then moved back to days in a new position in January 2004. I’ve found a great church where I’m singing with a praise team on Wednesday nights, and running sound on the weekends. I’m trying to sock money away towards a downpayment on a house in the area. I don’t miss winter or snow at all and hope to stay here for quite awhile! Every day from October - March is 70 degrees and sunny. I think we got frost maybe 2 times last winter :-)
I miss you all and hope to tag along on the Glee Club’s spring break tour to the Sunshine State. Have a wonderful holiday and best of luck during Christmas Show!!

What a great website!! I have to tell you...I’m feeling pretty old now :-) I graduated way back in 1983 and was a proud U-choir member. Both of my brothers were Glee Clubbers, and my sister was in U-choir as well. In fact, from 1970-1983 one or more of us were in PMO. 13 Straight Christmas Shows!! Hope your rehearsals are going well. As crazy as it gets...just remember how many lives you will be touching. I’d love to hear from any of my “old” Purdue PMO friends! Sandy? Jenny? You guys out there?? Take Care and Keep Singing and Ringing.

I love seeing all the pictures! Keep up the good work!
Well after graduating this past May (2004), I got a job with The Boeing Company in Seattle, WA. I’m currently in a 2 year rotational program where I can get a feel for different areas of Information Systems. After the 2 years I’ll get to chose the area that I think will fit the best for me. It’s a great way to see how things work and what is available before I settle down to one group. Seattle is awesome! There is so much to do and the scenery is amazing. Not to say that the Indiana cornfields are anything less. ;) I would recommend a trip out here whenever you get the chance, especially in the summer!
I miss seeing everyone and hope the Christmas show is going well! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it, but I know it will be a magical experience as usual. The pictures from rehearsals look very nice.
Final comment: working in the real world is soo much easier than being in PMO! haha

Hi everyone! The website looks fantastic.
Since graduation, I have somehow managed to stick around here is West Lafayette. I married Eric Crowell on March 6th this year. Eric is in Contracting Sales at 84 Lumber. I work at the Community and Family Resource Center (I get to work with Darcy Andrews-Schriver!) and I run programs that deal with juvenile delinquents and Child Abuse Prevention. Not really where I figured I would end up, but it is very fulfilling and I love the kids I work with!
Best of luck to the PMO crowd gearing up for Christmas Show this weekend. Best of luck to you all. We all know that this time of year can get a little nuts, but just remember that when it’s all over, you can relax. Nope, wait, then you have finals! Yeah! Just kidding everyone! Break a leg, sing your hearts out, and drink some OJ!
Please get in touch! I would love to hear from any PMO’ers from my years there!

This IS a great way to stay connected!
I moved to the Philly area after graduating. I met my wife Jaime at church 3 weeks after I moved out here. We were married on July 24th of this year. I worked for Skee-Ball (yes, as in Chuck E. Cheese) as a mechanical/CAD designer for a brief period of time.
Now I am a process engineer for Arlon Silicon Technologies in Delaware. Jaime teaches 3rd grade in PA (we live near the line in Kennett Square, PA).
I went to my 5 year H.S reunion in ‘01, and one of my classmates said she saw me singing in the Christmas show on PBS. I’m tellin’ you, we’re famous! : )

Christmas greetings, everyone! We are living in Central Missouri now. We moved here so that my husband Aaron (GC ‘94) could work as a forester for the State of Missouri. He loves his job, but we wish we were closer to friends & family in Indiana and closer to Purdue. After graduating in ‘94, I taught 12th grade British Literature for a year (what a trip—one year was enough for me!) and then worked in marketing at IU (if you can believe it), which I really liked. I gave that up, though, to become a stay at home mom in 2002 when our eldest daughter was born. We now also have a 9 month old daughter. 2 little girls sure keep me busy, but this is my favorite job yet!

After finishing at Purdue I stopped off in Chicago for 3 years to do a masters degree at Loyola. We are loving life together - as well as the weather - here in the desert of the Southwestern U.S. Please send me an email at and let me know how you are doing!

Hello all who actually might remember me (or care)! I saw the Holsapple’s nice note and thought I’d better update as well. My wife (Lannie) and I just had our 1st baby this year (Alexandra Marie), very exciting and wonderful. No wonder the Breed’s have had so many… They are still paying me to grow trees out here in WA state (Longview). My only critique of this website is always having to see Clarke’s mug in the opening alumni picture...I love the guy, but can we get a new pic every once and awhile (I guess he will always be the PMO “star”...)? Congratulations Mark on baby girl, Alexandra. I pray she got her mother’s looks. Glad to see there were no long term effects from your size 29 tux pants glued to your size 34 body. BTW you still owe me a pair of black socks from our freshman year, 1988. I wouldn’t be surprised if you are still wearing them. As for my photo, the picture is recent, the hair is from the 90’s, something neither you, nor Holsapple nor Sprecher can identify with. Sorry Aaron and Kevin...you guys are just innocent bystanders. Seriously though, there is an on-going diversity initiative at PMO that requires that I be strategically placed in all alumni pictures. In other words...your worst nightmare has come true! Wishing You a Very Happy New Year!

What a great website!
I’ve enjoyed reading everyone’s updates!
Here is my update....After graduating from Purdue in 2000, I moved back to New Jersey and worked for PriceWaterhouse Coopers in NYC for a year. After that, I decided to take a job a little bit closer to home and worked for spin-off of CSFB in private equity investor relations - I was there for two years. During that time, I met my husband Jason - he and I were married in March 2003. He is a mechanical engineer in technical sales for GE Power Systems. We now reside in Charlotte, NC where we have purchased a home and have a huge, 95lb. great dane/lab mix puppy that we love to death! Of course, that meant a job change for me --- I’m now with KeyBank NA in their mortgage broker division.
I am still involved in handbells and currently ring under the direction of Bob Ivey at the First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.
Well, keep up the wonderful work on this site, PMO!

This website is really great. I haven’t been back to Purdue for a long time and really miss seeing everyone.
I was married to Blaine Godbey on May 15th, 2004 and am living in Pendleton, Indiana. I am working in Anderson as a Family Case Manager for Child Protection...yes, I remove abused and neglected children from their homes. It is a difficult job at times, but there are rewards when you come across a really great success story. It is exciting to be able to help those in need. My husband works for an excavating company and loves it.
I am in the process of recording a demo at the Gaither Studios in hopes of getting my name out there. Who knows were God will lead me.
I look forward to hearing from some of you.
I hope you all have a great 2005!

Just wanted to post quick and say how cool it is that my cousin (by marriage) Lisa Schriver recently announced that she is the 5th Schriver to grace PMO with her presence (including me… even though I’m not a true Schriver). Steve Schriver, Anne Schriver, Kevin Schreiber (married Kelly Schriver), Darcilyn (Andrews) Schriver, and now… Lisa Schriver.
Then, I thought about it and realized that I am the 4th of the Andrews’ clan to be in PMO. Robert L. Andrews (would’ve been around 1930), Connie (Andrews) Powell, Kenneth Andrews, and Darcilyn (Andrews) Schriver. How neat that it could be such a family tradition!
I truly hope that this tradition continues! I hope all you alums are doing well and enjoying the New Year. I’d love to hear from old friends.

Greetings from way out west in Vancouver, British Columbia! Moved here about 3.5 years ago to join up with my partner and now husband - fellow psychologist, Steve. I’m currently enjoying a full year maternity leave (yay Canada!) to be with my beautiful baby boy, Alex (born Aug 7, 2004). I’ll return to my academic home at the Univ of British Columbia in July to resume my position as Director of the UBC Psychology Clinic. Until then I’m very much enjoying this year off and my new role as mommy.

Greetings All,
I like the new website. Great job Larson! I have been floating around the construction industry for the past couple years as a project manager working for various companies anywhere from Indianapolis to St. Joseph Michigan. I am most recently started my own company in the residential field and have grown to love the entrepreneur gig.
As far as singing goes, I tour part time with a southern gospel group called Committed singing bass. We are basically a two weekend a month deal right now, but who knows what God has in store.
I also teach music at the junior high I attended on a part time basis. Boys choir and mixed choir. I love it. I catch myself sounding like Breed all the time!!! What is this world coming to!
Married in ‘02 to Priscilla but no kids yet. Great hearing from everybody.

This is awesome! So many people that I haven’t talked to in ages. Glad to hear that everyone is alive and doing well! Hard to beleive that so many of us have become grown-ups. Lord knows that we weren’t in college! But isn’t that what college is for?!?
As for the latest for in the my life. As of July 10, 2004 my apartment has been co-inhabited by a very beautiful woman. Angela Bechtel of the PMO Express fame, married me (sucker- HAHAHA!!! She has no idea what she got into!) and we have been enjoying the growth together as a married couple. I am working in Lafayette, West Lafayette, and Dayton for Soller-Baker Funeral homes and I am just a few months short of having my license. Ang is working for Samson and Delilah here in Lafayette until we can figure out where we want to end up and get her back into the museum industry.
Good reading about everyone, if ever in Lafayette, drop us a line. We love having company and catching up with old friends. Take care and hope to read more about you soon!

Greetings!
I have really enjoyed reading all the updates. Clark, you and Sheldahl make me laugh!
As for me I am a minister on staff at Central Christian Church (DOC) in Lexington, KY. I work mainly with children, youth and families. I love it and feel blessed to have found my vocation for life. Glee Club and conversations on many bus rides helped me to discern this call. I am truly greatful. One interesting part of the experience is that I still have the Glee Club Nightmares of missing a show or bringing the wrong outfit whenever I am preparing for a mission trip or a stressful sermon.
To join in on the whole “be fruitful and multipy” idea, my wife, Rachele, and I had our first child November 11th, 2004. McKenzie Mattox is a joy and we are loving parenthood. We like to sing together at night she loves Walking my baby back home and All the things you are, but is a little frightened by Pilgrim’s Chourus.
Peace to you all!

Wow, what an improvement of the website! I have really enjoyed reading the updates of those that I know and those I don’t. As for me, after graduating in December 2001 I moved home while looking for the job that came 6 months later. I am the Director of Communications for the Associated General Contractors of Indiana. We’re a statewide construction trade association, and I never dreamed that I’d end up here. I now live on the northwest side of Indy and love it! Only 12 minutes to work downtown and only an hour to West Lafayette. I also have my own business as a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant and am loving it. I’m in the process of earning my first free car from Mary Kay and someday will be driving the famous Pink Cadillac! I met my boyfriend, Jameson Pearson,(a die hard Boilermaker as well) through work, and no ring yet but heading that direction. I’ll keep everyone posted.
Well, I certainly hope that everyone is doing well and I hope to hear from some more of my long lost friends. This is a really great idea!

Well, all of these make me wish I was in Glee Club more than one semester!! Alas, it was not meant to be. I found I couldn’t stay away from music, and Engineering was getting me nowhere (It seems like I was going in reverse). So I am just a year away from getting my BA in Music (December), I’ve done my junior recital and my professors say I’m the best student they’ve seen in quite a while. Trying my hand at composing and it too goes well. I’ve been looking at graduate schools, helping a friend with his Gospel CD release concert and CD (I get a solo), trying to get this HBCU to cooperate, and singing at First United Methodist Church as Tenor section leader (not an easy job to find). I keep busy enough. Even though the choir here at Philander Smith is well known, it cannot compare to the Glee Club standards. (Also I do quite a lot of setting up and tearing down of the shelves and risers by myself because no one will help...Thanks to those that MADE me do it before. I need you here to teach some of these guys how to WORK.)
Too bad I can’t catch any concerts by PMO.
I miss those days.

Well, it sure is nice to see that we are all communicating! I had to put my two cents in as an alum and a really proud staff member as well. Thanks for keeping in touch, sending in your gifts (you’re helping me keep a job! and helping the current students too) and joining us for so many performances.
I have to tell you about a few events that we are having and then a few I dream of having! Two coming up are the 2nd Annual Purdue Cancer Benefit Concert. If you are an alum and haven’t thought of joining us, do it! It is the best $30 gift you can give. You’ll be changed.
Second — the Bells are having their 25th Anniversary. You need to be there if you were ever in Bells or wanted to be, listened to or helped carry those things, get here this spring!!
Now, I’m looking to have a few events next year.....reunions??
Why have to have a real year to get together???
Why don’t we plan some mini reunions and talk in person! Who is up for it??
Let me know..............keep talking, writing!! Even if it is at Clarke’s expense!
He ain’t heavy he’s my brother (or Elaine’s version!) Hail Purdue!

This is such a great way to catch up with those long lost PMO family members! As for me, I left Indiana in 2001 for massage therapy school in Utah. I then moved to Indy where I met Brian on a blind date...set up by Amanda (Dausch) Morgan, a Bell Alum. Brian and I got married this past October and we are living in Fort Worth. Brian is working as an engineer and I am doing temp work while I wait for my certification to practice massage here in the great state of Texas. I’ll also start working on my Master’s this summer.
I haven’t touched a bell since Christmas Show 2001 but I did get to see a little portion of the greatest Bell Choir of all time at Natalie and Cory’s wedding in December. Those few that were there...you were fantastic, I forgot how great those bells sound! Take care everyone and if I could come up for any Bell 25th Anniversary festivities, I would, but that is ONE LONG DRIVE!

I am visiting the website for the first time today. I’ve embarassingly been “disconnected” from PMO for several years, for two main reasons:
1) being a part of the Allen era, I had mixed emotions when Bill had to leave. Why? Although the issues were properly solved by Purdue, he did so many things to help me grow as a person while I was there. When I graduated, I just felt for years to come, I would go up and visit with Bill. I hope he’s doing OK. And…
2) Linda and I get so involved in our kids activities, it’s hard to squeeze in time for PMO Alumni events.
Neither of those good excuses, huh?
Anyway, the older I get (40 now), the more the fond memories come back to me about the friendships and fun times we had. And I guess I realized (took me till 40 to figure it out)...that its not about me. It’s about the kids at PMO now, and supporting them, and Brian, and Purdue. I took our 15 year old son Blake (yes, we didn’t wait very long to have kids after we graduated, did we?) to his first ever Christmas Show last year - 2003. It was beyond spectacular. We were back again this year.
Personal updates:
I’m Chief Strategy Officer for Bremner & Wiley, Inc. We develop hospitals and other healthcare facilities throughout the United States, so I’m on the road a lot. My kids always ask me what I do...funny title...I tell them I “strategize” a lot during the day.
Linda: a great and wonderful wife and person and mom (Doug Everett’s sister - Doug’s pretty nice too). She plays a lot of tennis (she kills me, so I don’t play anymore...poor loser).
Blake: 15 years old (sophomore)...plays tennis and sings in the Lebanon High School show choir Charisma.
Clark: 13 years old (7th grade)...also plays a lot of tennis.
Glee Clubbers I see:
Father Richard Doerr - a great man and a great priest and still has a beautiful voice.
Mike Miller - recently chosen as the chief financial officer at our church.
Jack Calhoun - we ran into Jack in Maui during our Christmas vacation. He’s a senior level exec at Banana Republic...was great to see him...he looked great and was doing well.
Would love to hear from others from this mid 80’s era.
Written by Chuck Vogt on 18 Feb 2005 at 12:10 PM
I was in the Glee Club back in the 60’s with Issac Peltovich, Bob Tam, and others. Al Stewart was our leader and McGuire was our pianist (I think).
We only had about 30 members then. We went every where and had a lot of fun.
I wonder if any of the old timers are still around?
The best of luck to the guys and to the gals. Hope to hear you in the near future.
My three daughters live in Virginia and they were able to hear the Glee Club during the week of the inauguration at some church in Sterling, VA. They sent me a CD of the Glee Club’s popular numbers and a CD of Christmas songs.
Yours in Song

Hello everyone!
There are definitely things I miss and things that I DON’T! You all know what those things are! :) But I do miss a lot of PMOers. Christian Richards you are one of them! Glad to hear you’re doing well! Don’t want to leave anyone else out but being the record holder for most consecutive years in PMO (7) I’ve known a lot you! ;)
I am a designer for Carson Design Associates in Carmel, IN and referred Etter here when there was opening and now she works here too! What was I thinking?! Just kidding Etter! The ‘Fab Five’ (Me, Etter, Mags, Lucy, & Missa) still get together often and kick it.
And Julie...I don’t need a reason to get together! Drop me a line and we can have an Elks Club meeting. ;)

I was in the PVGC in the late 80’s/early 90’s—back when there was a smokestack at Purdue! (In fact, I have a brick from the smokestack that I “borrowed” from the demolition site years ago on my bookcase here at work.....)
I have many, many GREAT memories of PMO....Scandinavian Tour......Westminster Abbey...travelling as an alum with the GC to China ... Stag Nights....camp @ Rose Hullman...but I think my favorite memories involve the Christmas shows. I would love to hear from others during this era and hope to see many of you at Homecoming or Christmas show this fall. If you haven’t been back in awhile, you’ll soon see how truly outstanding PMO is under Brian Breed’s direction.
As for me, I met my wife, Christina, after graduation during our first week of law school at Valpo....I spilled a 60 oz. diet coke on her first day of class....she couldn’t help but notice me! One of our first dates was a GC show in beautiful DeMotte, IN....although an IU grad, she has adopted Purdue (and her husband’s obsessive Boilermaker tendencies) wholeheartedly! We both work at the same firm in Cincinnati—I do patent/trademark/copyright law---Chris works in commercial real estate. We’ll be married 10 years in June and have a very active and wonderful little daughter Charlotte who is 1 1/2 years old.
Glee Clubbers/PMO’ers I see and at least occasionally keep in touch with from my era: Mark Sheldahl, Andy King, Todd Miller, Scott Stump, THE Chris Clarke, Reid & Julie Ricciardi, Kevin Klinker, Fr. Rich Doerr— would be great to hear from more of you…

Where are all the old, old Glee Club members? I was a member in 1943 and only remember one other members name, Bill Kennedy. Wonder if he is still around. Have enjoyed singing with the Glee Club recently when they performed at Scottish Rite and Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis. Always fun to join the guys at the end of the program. Brian does an outstanding job and I consider him at least equal if not exceeding our great mentor of the past! Have memories of Al Stewart, and a few about after-glow parties at Sarge Biltz’s. God bless you all and keep supporting PMO!!!

I’m working for Grosse Ile Municipal Airport as the “Acting Assistant Manager.” Really enjoying my time here as we have many summer events coming up to look forward to. I think of PMO from time to time, especially Christmas Show. One of my old Purdue friends and I are making the annual tradition of going together.
It’s always interesting hearing what PMO is doing and how it’s changing!

Well, a great big hello to all the PMO alums! I LOVE the new site! I felt my mojo ticking the minute I saw it. Well, it could have been the Chinese I had for lunch, but I’m stickin’ with mojo.
I have so many fantastic memories of my days in PMO, and I have to say the PMO is where I learned to be a “professional” in the performance biz. If Christmas show didn’t beat it into you, nothing will. One of my favorite quotes came from Jon Ranard, “If I pay $85 to see Janet Jackson sing, I don’t CARE if she has a cold! Deal with it!” Ah, words to live by. I’d be TOTALLY game for a reunion!
First of all, most of you may remember me as Heather Hassenplug - I made the joyful leap back to Heather Ault (my maiden name) just before my time at Purdue was up in 2000. Now I’ll be changing names again . . . I’m marrying Joshua Ramsey on April 24th (yup, in just a week and a half!) here in Indianapolis. We met in theater here and now he is a die-hard roadie for my band, Tastes Like Chicken. No, seriously, that’s the band name. They’ve been on the Indy scene for about 10 years, I joined up with them as their lead vocalist 2 years ago. I also sing regularly with my accompanist, David Meek, doing the lounge/restaurant gig. In addition, Josh and I are actors with the Mystery Cafe of Indianapolis, as well as working in many of the local theaters. If you’re ever in the area and want to stop in on a gig, check out my website, http://www.heatherault.com.
I work a day job as an admin with a brokerage firm in downtown Indy, and Josh and I live on the east side of Indy in Irvington.
It’s great to hear from so many in my PMO past. I miss you guys! Best wishes to everyone!

Though I feel dorky posting something else, my last post WASN’T an update, so here goes....
Since graduation in May ‘02, I have been a proud employee of Purdue University; first, as a credentials analyst for International Admissions and, since January ‘05, as Assistant Director of Admissions for our wonderful alma mater. I feel very blessed to be able to be one of the few who can honestly say he LOVES his job.
I let the pipes get a little rusty but I am back singing again. I get another go-round singing with my best friend, Angie (Bechtel) Day in the Indianapolis Arts Chorale. We have gotten PMO’s name out in Indy (any Indy-area alums who want to sing, its a great group!!!) Unfortunately, people don’t stop me on the street anymore...ahh, those were the days!
No spouse, no kids, 1-bedroom apartment...ahhh.
Shouts out to my girls...Carol, Kenaga, Heather (Congrats!!), Theresa, Julie, Carey and Laura Sargent…

Hi Everyone! I have a lot more updates since the last time I posted.
First, and most importantly, is that we are having another baby. Our daughter, Annabelle, will be a big sister sometime around the New Year.
Our second piece of big news is that we are moving back to Indiana. Jay has been transferred to the Hummer plant in Mishawaka, so we’ll be able to visit Purdue more often again. We’ll be living in Granger, so if anyone is close by, be sure to drop me an email!
I’m totally up for a reunion like Julie mentioned!

Howdy, folks! It looks like traffic on this page has died down a little bit, but I thought I’d drop by and say “hello” anyway.
Jackie (Waddington, Purduettes ‘93-’97) and I have been hanging out in San Diego for the past 6+ years; October will mark our 7-year wedding anniversary. We have a beautiful 4 year-old daughter (Jordan) and an incredible 9 month-old son (Jonathan). Life is very good!
My day job keeps me busy as a manufacturing engineer for an aerospace company (Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems), and my “other job” is Worship Leader for our church.
It’s hard to believe it’s been close to 9 years since my last Glee Club show, and it’s been over 12 years since we bungee-jumped in New Zealand, but I can relate to Chad’s comment above—the occasional “I’m late for Call Time!” nightmares still show up every once in awhile… (I’m sure that Brian gets a big smile on his face when he hears stories like that).
Well, in case anyone wants to get in touch with me or Jackie, go ahead and send an e-mail our way ( or ), or you can get a further glimpse into our life by checking out my blog at http://thetreasurefine.blogspot.com.
Take care everyone!

Well, after getting the three wee ones asleep we couldn’t find “Grease” on VHS so we settled for the Scottish Rite show from 1997. So much hair, so many laughs.
We’ve settled in Brownsburg (rumors of Brougher still abound ‘round these parts and for the most part we claim ignorance but a certain yellow VW bug seems consistent in many tales).
Drop us a line if you’re in town or passing through; it would be fun to share a laugh and a memory…

Hail Purdue!
Greetings from Maryland. I don’t get back to Indiana very often, but I made it to Ole Purdue for Homecoming ‘04 - my twenty year reunion! I was amazed at all the positive changes with PMO. When I was a Purduette, I think there were only 24 of us and we didn’t do as many cool things that the young women of today have the opportunity to do. That is progress ladies! I have so many fond memories of my four years in PMO and wish all the current singers, musicians, and leaders much success.
I’ve been teaching middle school, 6th grade Language Arts, for 15 years and continue to find joy in music. I have the privilege of being the Cantor for the Catholic serices held at the United States Naval Academy here in Annapolis, MD. It’s such an incredible place! I also have the opportunity to hang out with Maureen Peterson (UC’86), who also lives in Annapolis. It’s great to have a Purdue friend here in town.
I’d love to hear from any PMO people from the 80’s. Please drop me an email!

Hi everyone!
Wow, it has been a while! I saw the picture above from Australia and realized I am getting older by the minute. So much has happended since then. Steve and I are living in Carmel with our future Glee Club member and Purduette; Noah will be 4 in September and Della will be 2 in November. Steve works as a Specialty Sales Rep. for Novartis Pharmaceuticals and I have the amazing job of personal assistant to Noah and Della. I still find some time to sing at St. Lukes UMC here in Indy and in a contemporary christian quartet called 4Ever Praise. I am trying to get Steve to sing more but he claims he did enough at Purdue.
If any of you are in the area drop us a line and we can get together.
God Bless,
Rachael

Greetings from Phoenix from a former second alto in the University Choir. My word, it seems like just yesterday, but I auditioned and was accepted back in 1988! Gary Branson and I felt an affinity for each other immediately; we were making wisecracks to each other at the audition. I also remember that Bill Allen complimented me on my range, saying, “She could sing from second alto to second soprano.” I was thrilled. It’s sad how things played out with both Gary and Bill (and Greg LeSan, who was my last director). All three were genuine class acts.
I was glad to see Chris Clarke on the blog. You may not remember me, Chris, but I certainly remember you. Since I was lavaliered to Matt Lyons for a year, I went to an appalling amount of Glee Club performances. I never tired of hearing you sing “He Ain’t Heavy.” Every single time you sang it, I got tears in my eyes. I get tears in my eyes just thinking of it now. Your voice is an absolute treasure, and I know that you respect your instrument as such.
Let’s see...things did not work out between Matt and me romantically, although I still remember him fondly, and we parted friends. About a month after Matt and I broke up, I met the man who would become my husband, Ken Linger. Call it kismet or fate or karma or whatever...we are pretty much a true-life case of Love At First Sight. And I thought stuff like that only happened in sappy Julia Roberts movies!
Matt, if you read this, drop me a line, or write an entry on the blog. I would love to know what you have done with yourself since we last saw each other back in 1992.
I own and operate a business, Laura Linger LLC, offering “hired gun” administrative, editorial, concierge, and project management services. This is my first year of business, and it is both exhausting and exhilirating. I also finished my first book, White Trash Debutante, back in December 2003; I am still trying to find an agent! Ken and I live in Phoenix with our two cats, Manni and Lola. Although I miss Indiana, Arizona is now my home, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The sunsets alone are reason enough for that.
Ken and I travel quite a bit. Our latest trip was to Japan in May 2005. It was very life-changing in many respects. We have also vacationed in Mexico, Spain, Italy, England, and the Virgin Islands in recent years. We discovered a love of snorkeling!
I am very politically active, and I am damn proud to call myself a Liberal. We must end the bloodshed in Iraq, folks. Our young people are fighting and dying and our president keeps lying. My brother spent 14 months over there and it took a terrible toll on our entire family.
To all of you U-Choir types out there, I want to send a big “Hallelujiah, Baby!” I *still* sing “Daniel, Servant of the Lord” in the shower. And does anyone know if a recording exists of the U-Choir, circa 1990, singing that beautiful arrangement of The Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi? I’d pay top dollar for it.
May The Great Buddha bless and keep all of you.

How much fun is this? I love reading everyone’s updates. Let’s see, where are we? Jake and I live on the southside of Indianapolis. Jake (PVGC 1999) teaches 3rd grade at Winchester Village Elementary in Perry Twp. He also runs their drama club, and waits tables on the weekends at my uncle’s Italian restaurant, Augustino’s. I (Emily Dwenger, Purduettes 2000) became a music teacher and taught for one year in southern Indiana (has anyone ever heard of Austin?). I taught 6-12th grade choir and drama, and directed their first ever musical, Music Man, Jr. It was a blast.
But, now I stay home with our kids. Ewan is 15 months old and the spitting image of his father. We just had twins - Audrey and Ella on July 7. So, yes, our three kids are less than 14 months apart. Our lives are crazy right now, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I miss teaching, but I still get to teach private piano and voice out of my house, and get to watch my babies grow.
That’s it for us for now. Please drop a line, we would love to hear from any and all of you!

Hey Everyone!
I hope life is treating everyone well. I got married about a year ago to Alexis Yanis. She is from Marion. We both went to the same school growing up. We actually met at a school reunion about 3 years ago. Alexis works at Indiana Wesleyan University as an Admissions Counselor and I am still I guess what you call an entrepreneur....I help manage 2 medical clinics...one in Marion and one in South Bend. Alexis and I also formed A&R;Marketing Solutions which specializes in marketing and graphic and web design for small and medium sized businesses. In our free time, we are getting more degrees from IWU.
Alexis and I are also very involved at St. Paul’s, where both of us are Eucharistic Ministers, and I also teach Sunday Relegious Education for 7th Grade and High School. Who would have ever thought it?
Great job on the PMOJO website. What a great way to carry on the tradition of PMO being a dynamic entertainment organization.

Well, hello everyone.
After graduating in ‘04 I moved to Merrillville, IN to be an Asst. Banquet Manager at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza. I’ve been having a lot of fun, planning big galas, working weddings upon weddings, and even meeting a few stars here and there as they walk through the hotel. Anytime you are up in this area and need a place to stay, make sure that you give me a call (work: 219-769-6311 ext. 5251) and I’ll do everything I can to make sure that you get a comp room.

Nice web site. It’s great to learn how everyone is doing. I hope that this message board with be the source of many more happy reunions similar to the one between Clarke and Sheldahl.
After PU, I went out on a limb and married a sweet gal from IU. She proved to be a perfect fit. We have 2 boys - Joey, 4 and Jake, 2 - with true VanHooser blood (which for those who do not know, means they are hyper). We are settled in a neighborhood just outside of Indy and we love it.

I’m currently studying in Sweden for my last semester as a college student. And this is more of a question than anything: Do any of the alumni remember going to Uppsala, Sweden on one of the international tours? I was in one of the student nations (pub) and I saw some pictures on the walls that looked like some clubbers wearing full dress. If any of the PVGC alumni have any memories of Sweden, let me know.

Just a quick update on me…
I was married in 1999 to Sam Cuckler, and we now have a 2-1/2 year old son named Isaac. He is the light in our life & is extremely active!
I have been working for GE for the last 6 years, and we are now in Madisonville, KY (my hometown). I am the Lean Manufacturing leader for the plant which make aircraft engine parts. We have lived in 5 cities in the last 6 years, and it looks like we may be moving again by the end of the year. Busy life!
I am still singing, but now it is only in church and for my family. I am trying to teach my son how to sing with me! So far, we have “Itsy-Bitsy Spider” and “Old MacDonald” down. We’ll work on harmonizing later! :-)
I hope everyone else is doing well, and if you would like, please drop me an email at .

What a great way to stay connected. I stopped by the PMO site after receiving ticket information for the Christmas show.
After leaving Purdue in ‘99 I went back to Fort Wayne to finish school and now have a degree in music. I majored in vocal performance and now have a full time job at a Catholic church in Fort Wayne as the music director and liturgist. I direct three choirs, an adult choir, a childrens choir, and teen ensemble. I also teach Kindergarten and Preschool music for the church as well. So I keep pretty busy these days.

Hi - Great to see so many people are doing well! After graduating, I lived in Wisconsin for a few years working for GE Medical Ultrasound, and married Jenny Brand in 2000. But, we got tired of the cold weather...and had some opportunities to contribute to our families’ businesses, so we moved back to Fort Wayne, and have been enjoying it here for several years now. I lead our store and web-site operations for our business, Rustic Hutch (http://www.rustichutch.com), while Jenny teaches chemistry at Carroll HS part-time, and takes care of our 1 1/2 year old son, Brad.
I’ve been involved with the Milwaukee Symphony and Fort Wayne Philharmonic Choruses (developed a love for the classical stuff!), but am currently taking some time off from that to pursue an MBA at Taylor University.
Feel free to drop me an e-mail - good to hear from everyone!

GOOD MORNING ALUMNI!!!!
I am actually writing to put a call out to PMO Alumni in, or within driving distance of Indy.
I still work for WFYI, and I have been working with one of our producers to air the PMO Christmas Show as a pledge special before this year’s production. My hope is that not only will it be good for WFYI, but the Christmas Show will also be aired more than once, and that PMO will get more publicity in Indy. It is still in the very beginning phases of planning, but the show is scheduled to air the first Sunday in December, and we will be offering Christmas Show tickets and videos as gifts to supporters.
I think that it would be totally cool (sorry… I reverted back to 16 there), if we could man the phones with all PMO Alumni. This could be an opportunity to catch up with old friends, have a little fun, get fed, and support a couple of great causes. Did I mention you might be on TV?!!? If we can get PMO Specialities in the studio that night (that part still hasn’t been hashed out), your shift will run live.
I need to know if anyone would be interested in doing this before I commit a group of PMO Alumni (obviously), and once I have an idea of the interest, I can give you a more specific idea of times and number of people we will need. If you are interested (don’t worry, I won’t consider it a hard ‘yes’ until you tell me so), or want more information, e-mail me at , or click on the postcard on my website below.
I hope you can join us at WFYI. Call it our first alumni reunion with a purpose!

Hello all!
I was looking to get Christmas Show Tickets this year. I actually haven’t been to a show since 1997, and I was in that one!! My wife needs some Christmas spirit, and what better way than the PMO Christmas Show!
I was only in PMO for 1 1/2 years, but they were some of the best times of my college career. Some of my very best friends today, I met in PMO.
I’ve been married since 1999 to Corrie. We have a six year old daughter, Avery, and my son Carson is now four.
Hopefully some of you remember me; I sure did recognize alot of names on this list. Check out my website if you get the chance.

How fun to hear about everybody! I was just listening to an old recording of the ‘97 Cantata...remember Mendi’s ‘Joy to the World’ solo? It put me in the mood for a little PMO nostalgia and I happened upon this website.
Anyway, Dan and I are in San Pierre, IN...just south of Valpo. Dan’s the Associate Pastor of our church and that keeps all of us busy. Speaking of all of us...there are currently 3 little Luces, with #4 arriving in June. Micah-4, Drew-2, & Hannah-1. Blessed beyond measure, I tell ya.
Hope everyone is well...I’d love to hear from some old Pettes...lots of catching up to be done!

It was a lot of fun reading about what everyone has been up to. Sam and I watched the Christmas show on PBS last Sunday and it brought back a lot of memories. Sam is an Assistant Manager at the Walgreens on 38th and Allisonville in Indianapolis. I am in my 3rd year of teaching Algebra at Avon High School. We bought a house in Brownsburg and absolutely love the area. No kids yet, but we do have 2 cats: Tempo & Fermata. Merry Christmas everyone!

Boy...I feel the Christmas spirit already!
I logged on hoping to find out when/if the PMO Christmas Show might be aired in my area, and I found the alumni blog. It’s been fun reading up on everyone. Yes...I read the whole blog in one night…
As for me, I was in PMO from 1992 - 1996. Choral Club for the first year, and U-choir for the rest. Jon Ranard, Kitty Campbell, and Brian Breed were my directors. My name then was Becki Mize, and I wouldn’t give up my PMO experiences for anything!
I graduated from Purdue in 1996 with a CEE degree, and went to work at Motorola for 8 years. I traveled extensively, and enjoyed the opportunities that career afforded me. I saw Japan, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Hong Kong, Argentina, and many cities throughout the US.
I was lucky enough to travel to the Rose Bowl (for fun) to support the Boilers in 2001, with my close friend Erika Amundsen (also a U-choir member, and my neighbor in the Christmas Show cantata for 3 years.) We located the PVGC while in California, and enjoyed their performances immensely!
I married Doug Zobel, a fellow Boilermaker CEE, but self-admitted non-singer, in March 2003. He is a wonderful man and has enriched my life immeasurably! We live northwest of Chicago, in a suburb called Fox River Grove. No kiddos yet...we’re still trying to manage our 100-lb yellow laborador, Bailey...these things take time.
I left engineering and Motorola in summer 2004 and I have been pursuing a Nursing degree ever since. Darn it, if I had only known...Purdue has a great school of nursing! ...but I’m doing it now, after the fact...sometimes it takes a while to find your calling.
I still love music, and I have fond memories of PMO. My favorite phrase that I use often is:
If you’re early, you’re on time,
If you’re on time, you’re late,
If you’re late, you’re left!
No matter where you are in life, I like to remember..."There will always be a song!”
Take care of yourselves, and keep in touch!

Hey everyone.
Wow.... It sure is great to see some names from the past. It brings back many great memories. After school I moved back home to Bogle Corner to continue the family farm and sell some legal drugs. I was recently promoted to the Pharmacy manager position at the Linton Wal-mart.
I married a local girl in July of 2004. We built a home last year, but no kids just yet. This is a great site. I can’t wait to hear from everyone.

Hi all!
It’s great to have a way to reconnect/catchup with so many PMO folks! PMO was one of the best things about my time at Purdue! I have so many fond memories of Christmas Show!
I have been in Chicago since graduating in ‘94. I got my doctorate in Sociology from Northwestern, where I also met my husband, Nehal. We’re expecting our first child in May 2006. I’m Associate Director of the Teaching Center at NU, where I’m in charge of graduate student development (meaning I train grad students to teach at the college level). I actually kept singing for several years through a graduate student acapella group at NU. It was fun but very different from PMO!
I’m still hoping to make it out to Christmas Show--I haven’t been back for it since 1995! Though I always think of stopping by on my way to see my parents in Indy. I’d be happy to hear from anyone in PMO from the years I was there! My email is .
Take care & keep in touch!

Hey guys! Its so nice to hear qhat everyone is doing. I left PMO my Senior year to be a counselor at Hilltop - which I loved - but still consider the choice bittersweet. I missed out on so much! Does anyone else every sing old PMO stuff in the shower? My boyfriend hears PMO stories and laughs - apparently I tell the same ones over and over.... like Christmas show weekend when you just never get to leave? Or when we decorated boxers and wore them under our robes with little else.... ha ha ha…
Glad everyone is doing well. If Lucy Whitehead happens to come on board (pardon the pun), CALL ME!!! 765-414-0104. For that matter, Maggie - call me, as well! Mary, you there???
Love to you all!!!

Hello Alums:
Are there any PMO alumni bloggers out there? I started one a few months ago, and my friends and family have recently jumped the gravy train. I’ve found it to be a great way to keep connected with long distance pals. I’ve love to find out if there is a strong community of PMO bloggers out there!
Take care,

My current bell director alerted me to an upcoming Purdue Bells performance in the Chicago area and not having heard of it I got on here to find out when it is!
Currently I ring with The Agape Ringers, Chicago’s premier handbell ensemble. It provides lots of travel opportunities; this August we are touring Puerto Rico. I am also directing a jr high/ sr high bell choir at a church in my area. I am really excited that Purde Bells is giving a few concerts up here this spring, and I can’t wait to bring my group to see them. They really need to see what bells can do outside of church, and for those high schoolers it’ll be a great introduction to Purdue!

Well hello all!
I am so excited that I ran across this blog!!! A lot has changed since 1997!
I am married with 2 children, Anna Lynn 4, and Will 1. I left Purdue (and Purduettes) in 1998 when I transferred to Western Kentucky University to major in T-Comm and Broadcasting. That is where I met Robert (my husband). I absolutley LOVED my time at Purdue and still have great memories of PMO!!!
I am sure most of you will remember me as Haselby’s little cousin!
After many years in Bowling Green, KY and Nashville, TN, we decided to move back to my home town (Connersville, IN) to raise our kids. After years of being “mom” I have left the nest and am now the event coordinator for our city Park Dept.
Keep in touch!!!

Was watching “Whose Line Is It Anyway” the other day and I saw a guy that used to be in U-Choir on the show. He was brought on stage for one of the acts. His first name was Doug. I forget the last name. He was really tall and sang Bass. What a coincidence!

I’ve seen that episode of Whose Line. That guy, Doug, was Rudolph one year in Christmas Show. If I recall right, he went to do something at Pepperdine. Yup, coincidence and small world!

Hello Alum!
Wow this was a great read! I’m blessed to hear how well everyone is doing! After several fun jobs across the country with GE it was time to leave the safety and security of the USA and I’ve moved to Shanghai China. What a wonderful country this is! If anybody makes it this way look me up, or pass me a line.

I was just looking at Center Stage at the P’ettes tour to Canada and remember the Uchoir Canada tour 2002-- yay! The difference being they flew and we drove on a bus-- I remember cause I had a fever- ick :(
I still remember every word to ‘Oh Canada’ and like to sing it just to show off.
Hey if anyone’s on myspace, look me up: http://www.myspace.com/lbennington. My husband is on there too (Jeremy Bennington Uchoir 99).

Gee, I just realized that I never gave you guys the update that I had my second baby. He’s already six months old! We brought baby Joshua home on Christmas Eve, and his big sister Annabelle just adores him. The novelty of a new baby has worn off for her now, but she still loves to entertain him - especially now that he is able to laugh and coo at her silliness!
We are living in Granger, Indiana (near South Bend) and are really loving it here. My husband works for GM at the Hummer plant and I get to stay at home with the kids still. I was also just cast in The Music Man at Elkhart Civic Theatre, so if any of you are in the area, you should definitely come to the show at the beginning of August!

Hi,everyone! Thanks, PMO, for the blog… it is a pretty cool way to keep in touch. I’m sorry if I seem distracted during this post, there is some weird t.v. show on called, “Cutters”, about these ladies that cut themselves and it’s grossing me out.
Anyway, in the spirit of catching everyone up, here’s my two cents…
Jon, our two kids, and I moved to Olive Branch, Mississippi (a suburb of Memphis, TN) a couple of months ago and our necks are getting redder by the moment! After helping pioneer a church in San Diego, CA, we felt led to live back near family - Jon’s parents and sister’s family live here in the same Memphis, TN metropolitan area.
We just made an offer on our first real house (in CA a condo was all we could afford), and are totally pumped about it! Hopefully, some of “ya’ll” will come visit - especially my Purduettes “Big Sis” Heather, to whose recent wonderful email I have yet to reply (sorry).
Our kids rock my world and are hilarious (imagine:: Jon’s clumsy wit and Jackie’s sassy sarcasm). We laugh every single day through the slobber, dirt, and excitement of this big move South. 5-Year-old Jordan proudly parades hot pink cowgirl boots paired with her pale pink California beanie, while 21-month-old Jonathan trips and trails behind shouting, “Yee-yee, yee-YEEEEEEE” (that’s “sissy” in toddler-talk).
I know, I’m dripping with CHEESE! Oh well, being a mom IS cheesy… and miraculous all at once.
Also, I admit I feel a little guilty that I haven’t returned to Purdue one single time since graduating in 1997. I don’t know what to tell ya’. I really do miss a bunch of ya’ll. Still, I’m not losing any sleep, you know?
So, if interested, don’t forget to keep in touch by regularly hopping onto my husband’s blog: http://www.thetreasurefine.blogspot.com. He’s a much jazzier writer than I.
By the way, I didn’t choose to have this gross show on… I just never turned the t.v. off after Grandma, Grandpa, and Jon went to bed, and the last show finished. “What WAS that last show you chose to watch, Jackie”, you might be thinking?
“The Princess Bride” AMC. A perfect classic. Oh, did that “age” me? Nevermind, I’ll just tell you, I’m 31 and proud of it.

Hey everyone!
Wow, glad to get a glimpse into the lives of a few familiar names on this message board. Some stories/occupations were a bit surprising (Riche a minister??), but most seemed quite natural based on the great friends we got to know while we were at Purdue in PMO. Most of all, it’s nice to read about everyone’s quivers full of children. Kids put a whole new and wonderful perspective on life and where your priorities lie.
In that regard, I’m happy to report that Shannon and I have been blessed with Genevieve (2) and Graeme (5 months). Genevieve loves to sing and listen to songs, so much so that after one—whether it’s been sung to her or between songs on the iPod—she’s always asking, “More song?” I love it! Graeme (pronounced like Graham) loves to smile at everyone and both his smile and his laughter are contagious.
I liked Purdue so much I came back after a short stint at DuPont to get my MBA at Krannert—that, and there was this amazing woman named Shannon that I wanted to marry and she was still finishing up her computer engineering degree.
After Purdue, we lived in Austin, TX for 5 years—Shannon as a software engineer for IBM and I at Motorola/Freescale Semiconductor. We’re now in the St. Louis area (just over a year now). I work at MEMC Electronic Materials as Global Commodity Manager and Shannon now has the much harder—yet more rewarding—job of full-time mom. (I got a kick out of Rachael Whitlock’s description as “personal assistant")
I kept up with singing while in Austin helping lead worship at Hill Country Bible Church (fellow PVGC’er Todd Kanning helped us get plugged in there), and will likely start doing the same soon at our church in St. Louis, 2Rivers Church.
We’ve been really bad about keeping up with people from Purdue, so hopefully now that we’re back in the Midwest and a lot shorter driving distance we’ll be able to do a better job keeping in touch with people and get the chance to bump into some of you back on campus.

Just wanted to share our good news! Marcus and I had our first child on August 6th. We named our “little” guy Zachary Alan, and at 2 weeks early, he weighed 8lbs, 14oz at birth!!! (For those of you that don’t know me, I normally weigh 100lbs… soaking wet...). Zachary is a clone of Marcus in every way right now; He has also inherited his set of lungs! :) To see mini-Marcus, I believe you can click on the link below, and it takes you to our blog. Have a great rest of the summer everyone!!!

Well, I figured I had better say that I have FINALLY graduated May 13, 2006) with a BA in Music from Philander Smith College in Little Rock Arkansas. I never should have left music really. Since August of 2005, I have been in 3 Operas; Gilbert and Sullivan’s Patience - The Duke of Dunstable,- Amahl and the Night Visitors - King Kaspar, - and Carmen - El Remendado. It has not been easy, but it certainly was fun. If anyone remembers me, at least you know I am actually getting it right now. Music is what I do.

This is my first visit to this fantastic site. It is so wonderful to hear of how everyone is prospering!
I have yet to return to Purdue for a PMO Christmas Show and still 10 years later have mixed feeling about being in the audience ranther than on stage. Someday I will brave though it!
A quick update: I bounced around the country for awhile with the love of my life husband (high school sweetheart Rick Coate- drummer for awhile for Purduettes) and we finally landed in Northern California.- thanks to a promotion for me from Johnson & Johnson. We fell in love with it here- so much so that when another promotion came around and they wanted me to move- I did- to another company. We have been here 6 amazing years. This Region is heaven on earth.
After much consideration and planning I decided to stay home with our daughter, Lola, who just turned 2. She is as sassy as her name implies and we have never experienced such adoration.
Thank you for putting this site together! I look forward to more stories and more reunions.

Hello all,
it’s great to see that everyone is doing well. I currently reside in Philadelphia and have been here since I left W. Lafayette. Loving every minute of it.
I’ve been able to visit 41 states because of my job. I mean who would’ve thought that I would go to places like Jonesburg, MO that is not even on any map or Rockport, IN or Tyler, TX. However, it’s not always that bad....good LORD. Got a chance to travel overseas from time to time which is great.
Anyways, I do relational database coding (SQL) for a software company that is based in Livermore, CA - quite boring but at least it pays the bills.
Currently my time is divided between Philly and San Francisco mostly.
Drop me a line whenever you get a chance. It’s always great to hear from you all.

Hello, I’m unsure if anyone would remember be but here goes....
I spent one semester in UChoir (Fall 2000) on a study abroad trip from England! I’m James, and I’m sure SOMEONE will remember me!!
I’m still in the UK, now working as a sports presenter for the BBC. My short time at Purdue is filled with fantastic memories, and I cherish my Christmas Show 2000 video that will be guaranteed a play each Christmas!
Anyone who knows me, would be great to hear from you.
All the best,

Well, it’s been longer than I like to think, but I did recognize a few names posted here from my days in U-Choir, so I’ll put my two sense in. Since graduating from Purdue in 1996, I’ve actually been teaching at the same elementary school in Whiteland, Indiana. My husband, Bryan, and I live in Greenwood with our two children - Haley, 5, and Jack, 2. I still sing, but mainly at church in the choir and as a cantor. I’ve been back for a few Christmas Shows, but ever since Jack was born in December 2003, I’ve had trouble juggling birthday celebrations with making the trip to Lafayette. I think this website is a great idea. It’s good to hear that old friends are doing well! Keep in touch!

Hey PMO peeps! I guess I am a few years late to join in on the fun, but just in case there’s a party to be had .... This is a great way to keep in touch. I’ve moved so many times since leaving Purdue and PMO in 1994 that I’ve lost contact with many dear friends. Some of my best memories at Purdue center around PMO. Hi Everyone!
What a fun website! Hubby, Tom (UC ‘96) and I (UC ‘94) were reminiscing about PMO just the other day. . . our kids think we’re nutty!
Since graduation, we moved to Ohio where I worked for the American Cancer Society and completed a Masters degree in Public Health at the Ohio State University. Tom spent four years working as an applications engineer for General Motors (great car deals!) and then accepted a position as a senior business analyst at Kraft Foods in Chicago (great macaroni and cheese!) We’ve been living in the northern suburbs since 2000 and love it.
Along the way, we ended up with 3 kids who are just as nutty as we are: Anna (who turns 7 tomorrow), Michael (3 1/2), and Kevin (18 months). They love to sing and dance and put on shows, so I guess we’ve got our own little U-Choir here.
All our best wishes to you!

Hi all U-Choir and PMO Alums!! Funny story is that I was in the cafeteria at Kraft Foods, where I work as a supply chain manager, and I ran into Tom O’Keefe. I had no idea he worked there but was sure nice to see a fellow PMO alum.
I sing now to a captive audience my husband John (fellow Purdue ME alum) and wonderful son Nicholas (2 years going on 14).

Hey all PMO Alums. It sure is nice to see what everyone is up to, especially all my fellow U-Choir alumni (’92-’95). I can’t believe it has been 12 years since my last Christmas show. Oh the memories, especially Euchre back stage during and between concerts. I still have all my plates, videos, tapes and now CD’s from our performances. They make it out each Christmas day.
As for an update on me, I have been married now coming up on 11 years to Kim (who many of you may remember, especially all my PMO/DU alums). We have 2 boys, William who is 3 1/2 years and Joshua who is 3 months old today. About 3 months after Kim and I got married we moved out to the Denver Colorado area. For the past 2 years now we have been living in Colorado Springs. Another fellow but short lived PMO alum lives here too which some of you may remember, Joe Gerber. He has converted me to dare I say it, Pinochle. Kim and I are always playing Joe and his wife for the most wins in our score book. (We are currently down by 1 game)
As for work, I am currently working as a Process Analyst contractor at El Paso Corporation. Basically I am assisting in the design and documentation of user requirements for their new natural gas measurement system.
I did sing for a few years with the Colorado Chorale but since moving to the Springs my audience is my family. Or the rare karaoke performance like at Joe’s wedding. Although nothing will beat his brother John’s (Glee Club alum) rendition of “How can I live without me”?
It was nice to read some of the updates:
Hey Jeremy Bennington, it was great to read about the wedding and kids. Love the website. Not sure if you get back to Colorado anymore but if so we need to meet up!
Becky Mize- Can’t forget all the fun we had especially during Christmas Show time. Nice to see all is going well. Send me an email so we can get together as I will be in your area for a wedding this May.
Wishing everyone the best,
