Purduettes Purdue Scholars Day
Saturday, January 16, 2010

Purdue Scholars Day is a day in which Purdue honors potential incoming students for their outstanding academics and achievements. The ladies had the honor of being the entertainment for this important event. They were also given the opportunity to enjoy lunch at Pappy’s Sweet Shop provided by the event. Juniors Tina Tzinares, Rachel Lane, and Tara Knoop and Sophomore Erin Handy wait in line for some delicious treats.

The women sat down to enjoy their meal between sound check and the performance.

Juniors Chelsy and Alyssa share their delicious meal together.

Some Purduette Seniors enjoy a meal before their last first show of the semester.

These Purduette women relive one of Purdue’s traditions by sitting in a both that has been a part of Pappy’s since its opening in 1927.

Junior Kirsten Fletter shows off her scrumptious Pappy’s All-the-Way Sundae.

New woman Leanne Shideler mingles with a prospective Purdue student and her family.

The Purduette Nursing Students pose for a picture after the performance with Nursing Advisor, Laura Curry, and Director of Student Services and Diversity for the School of Nursing, Mary Ilu Altman.
