Purduettes Canadian Tour: Day Two
Tuesday, May 16, 2006
After a big breakfast, we departed the hotel for the West Edmonton Mall for our first Canadian performance! After we sang, we had some time to roam the mall, which held several attractions including a pirate ship, a sea lion show, an IMAX theater, an indoor skating rink, a waterpark, and a dinner theatre, just to name a few! We then loaded the bus for a 5-hour road trip to Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The scenery is beautiful here! We had the evening free, so Brian and Daren Breed, Julie, Bog, and the Gold ladies went to dinner at St. James’s Irish Pub while Dr. and Mrs. Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Ruberg took the rest of the girls to the Old Spaghetti Factory. Tomorrow we will get to visit the Whyte Museum and take a cruise on Lake Minnewanka. More to come!
