Purduettes Canadian Tour: Day Three
Thursday, May 18, 2006
Today was a very exciting day as we toured beautiful Banff. We started out early with a great breakfast and ventured to our first destination: The Whyte Museum. On our tour throughout historical Banff we learned about the prominent figures responsible for developing the lovely mountain town. After this walk we loaded the bus and traveled to Lake Minnewonka. We enjoyed a lunch cruise on the lake, learning all about the wildlife and geology of the area. This afternoon we enjoyed free time perusing the quaint shops or spending time at the pool. Dinner was wonderful again as we enjoyed a dinner theatre: Oh Canada, Eh?! The show was fabulous and we performed a few songs during dinner. The day was busy and exciting and we look forward to Banff Springs tomorrow!
