New Pictures!
Another wonderful day for the Purduettes! We started out with a scrumptous breakfast at the Hyatt. It was a delicious buffet and we all ate our fill of pancakes, french toast, and omelettes. After breakfast we loaded the bus and began a tour of the city of Calgary. We rode around viewing various historical buildings, stopping at Fort Calgary and the Olympic Park. Fort Calgary was the origin of this lovely city and it is located right on the Bow River. Calgary was the host of the 1988 Olympics and we had the privelege of viewing their Olympic Stadium. Its enormous ice rink is now the location of hockey and ice skate training. After this we readied for another show! We had an amazing lunch in the Panorama Dining Room in the Calgary Tower. The tower is over 500 feet tall and we ate in a revolving restaurant. After lunch we performed in the Observation Deck of the tower. The show was great and afterwards we took lots of pictures on the glass floor! Standing on the floor and looking down to see Calgary below us was quite an experience. This afternoon we enjoyed some free time for shopping, eating, or even taking a nap! What another great day on tour!
