New Man Orientation Weekend 2008
Sunday, August 17, 2008

The first stop for our new men is Beaux Cheveux for a haircut. Steve Sanders is only halfway through but embraces his new do with a smile.

The new guys line up outside PMO for their first meeting with the Glee Club’s manager, senior Adam Nagy.

Next, the new men come inside PMO for a lesson with etiquette expert Anthony Cawdron.

Off to dinner at Bruno’s where the guys get to test their new etiquette skills and meet their weekend homestays.

Homestay Ethan Butt enjoys getting to know some of this year’s new men.

New director of PMO and the Glee Club, Bill Griffel, addresses the guys about our exciting new year.

Bill’s wife Natalie at Bruno’s with their two children, Wil and Josie.

A new day brings new challenges as the new men learn how to set risers for a Glee Club show.

Don’t touch the ropes! The new guys take on even more challenges at Purdue’s low ropes course.

The low ropes course teaches many team building skills. Christian Davis learns to trust his fellow Glee Clubbers as he drops blindly into their arms.

Overcoming the wall is one of the toughest challenges on the course. The guys can’t move on until everyone reaches the top.

Of course it’s not all fun and games. The new men are tested on what they’ve learned.

The new man orientation weekend ends as the returning Glee Clubbers treat the new men to a short show.

The new men learn all about run out songs from an audience perspective.
New Man Orientation went great and we’re off to camp! We will not have internet access at camp, however daily entries will be uploaded to Center Stage next weekend when we return to Purdue!
