Glee Club Camp - Friday
Friday, August 22, 2008

Wow! After a tough week, we have our first show of the season at Camp Lakeview’s outdoor amphitheater.

The Glee Club’s rhythm section of Assistant Director Greg Sanders, freshman Peter Carroll on drums and freshman Michael Blakley on bass guitar.

Freshman Matt Olker plays the bagpipes in Friday’s show.

Junior Ryan McLean sings all about his favorite state, Indiana.

Sing it out guys! The Glee Club loves to play to their audience.

Freshman Mark Knight serenades the audience in his first show with the Glee Club.

Senior Rob Teall visits with Natalie King, a huge fan of PMO and a member of our Advisory Board.

Sophomore David Maurer puts all his heart into singing the run-out to his beautiful mother.

Freshman Isaiah Foggs is “Flying Home.”

Freshman Tim Harris shows his Purdue Pride as he sings out “Hail Purdue!”

After the first show of the season, it’s camp tradition to throw the managers in the lake. Sorry guys!

The managers are thrown off the dock into Lutheran Lake.

Sopping wet, managers Lance Connolly, Adam Nagy, and Rob Teall still give a big smile.

Jim Giberson, Purdusir of the Advancement committee, presents Camp Lakeview’s director Tom Franke with a Glee Club jacket as a thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. On behalf of all of us at PMO, we send a huge THANK YOU to the entire Camp Lakeview staff!

The week is not over yet! It’s off to Indy for another performance sponsored by the choral program at Franklin Central High School.

Always a crowd favorite, the Voiceovers perform a cappella in Indy.

“Lambscapes” gives the Glee Club a chance to show their operatic skills.

Junior Barry Helfrich brings a smile to one lucky lady in the audience.

Junior Kyle Sutton hits the high notes.

As the week draws to a close, PMO and Varsity Glee Club Director Bill Griffel says thank you to his Franklin Central High School family for the warm welcome at Irvington Presbyterian Church and the wonderful meal the FC parents provided. Hail Purdue!
