Who Can Audition?

Boys and Girls Ages 9-13 (with unchanged voices)

Important Information For Students & Parents

• A parent or guardian must accompany their child to the audition. Each child auditioning is encouraged to bring a written recommendation letter from a teacher, preferably a music teacher, but the letter is not required.
• The PMO Kids Choir is featured in the nationally acclaimed Purdue Christmas Show, which is presented annually to a live crowd of thousands and reaches millions more through international broadcasts on public television and radio networks.
• The PMO Kids Choir is a big commitment and we’re looking for students with great attitudes, lots of energy and an ability to take direction. If students can sing, move and perform, that’s even better!

During the audition, students will be taught a song & dance routine which they will then perform as the audition piece.

Purdue Christmas Show

When December 12th, 13th, and 14th roll around, PMO will present its 75th Anniversary of the Annual Purdue Christmas Show, and Santa Claus won't be the only one making his yearly appearance!

What Christmas would be complete without children, and what Purdue Christmas Show could be complete without the PMO Kids Choir? These kids are an integral part of the show in many ways. Not only do their angelic voices add to the show, the expressions and actions they provide bring joy and laughter to the audience.
